What Data Will Be Deleted
Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted
- Your account profile information (name, email, profile picture)
- Scan history and saved product analyses
- Favorite products and ingredient lists
- App preferences and settings
- Any uploaded images or photos
- Usage analytics linked to your account
Data Retention Period
- Backup systems: Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion, after which it will be automatically purged.
- Legal requirements: We may retain certain data as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes) for the legally mandated period.
- Anonymized data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you may be retained for service improvement.
Delete Data Without Deleting Your Account
If you want to keep your Yskin account but delete specific data, you can:
- Clear your scan history from within the app settings
- Remove saved products and favorites individually
- Request partial data deletion by contacting us at privacy@yskin.com
