Welcome to Yskin, a mobile application available on iOS and Android. Yskin helps users analyze cosmetic product ingredients by scanning labels or entering ingredient lists manually to assess potential health risks.

This Privacy Policy explains how Yskin, based in Your Country, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Yskin app.

We only collect the information necessary to provide and improve our services.

2.1 Information You Provide

• Email Address and Password - When you create an account using Firebase Authentication.
• Ingredient Text and Search History - Scanned ingredient lists (OCR results), manually entered ingredient lists, and analysis results (risk levels and health effects). This information is stored in Firebase Firestore to allow you to access your history.

2.2 Camera Images

When you scan a product label:

• The image is temporarily processed using Google Cloud Vision API to extract text.
• Images are not permanently stored on our servers.
• We only process images to provide OCR functionality.

2.3 Device Information

• Device language preference (stored locally on your device).
• We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Authenticate login securely
• Analyze cosmetic ingredients
• Display risk levels (High, Medium, Low) and health information
• Save and display your search history
• Enable you to share analysis results
• Improve app functionality and reliability

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the app:

• Firebase Authentication (Google) - Used for secure account login and identity management.
• Cloud Firestore (Google) - Used to store ingredient database and user search history.
• Google Cloud Vision API - Used to extract text from scanned product images.

These services may process data on our behalf in accordance with their privacy policies and applicable data protection laws. We do not use advertising SDKs or third-party tracking services.

• User data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure.
• Communication between the app and servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Access to stored data is restricted and protected by authentication mechanisms.
• Images scanned through the camera are not permanently stored.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system can guarantee 100% security.

• Delete your search history directly within the app
